Why did Riot remove builds?

I honestly don't understand it. I would often use builds to leave a reminder of just what items were good on a champion, what strange pick of items I might prefer, items that are situationally good that I might not think of that I almost never get, (things like instead of ), or other items that might be forgotten. Plus it let me buy my items in a set order and think more about the gameplay and think about if I need to deviate from the build or not instead of thinking constantly of what I need vs if I need to change it....I don't know if that makes sense or not but it really helped me out....

So why were builds removed from the new client?
