I mean, if both items go on cooldown when you activate one and the on hit damage is just the one which would be bigger (Titanic if you have alot of health, Ravenous if alot of AD), then you let both shapes overlay (just one damage, but applied in circle and cone, making the area bigger), why not?

One of these would basically just be there for the stats, though.
