Dodging should not make you fail a series

Title is obvious. If I get into a lobby with someone who says "I am going to feed, I want you all to lose" and I dodge, I should not be punished with a failed series. What kind of logic is that? How do the two punishments of -3 LP and automatic failed series equal out? How?

If I want to dodge during a series, the most important games you'll ever play, I should damn well be able to without getting punished like I'm a chronic dodger.
