To be COMPLETELY honest with you, Ignite shouldn't be doing a forth of my health throughout the game

80-505 True damage across 5 seconds.

Lets say I'm playing any adc in the game, meaning that I don't buy health items. In this case, i'll use Varus, which has 2101 base health level 18, with his level 1 base health being 499.

Ok, lets try a mage. Orianna has 530-2077 base health in the game, which again, doesn't buy health items unless it's insanely situational.

Supports also have this problem, where their base health is so damn low, that they just get completely bum fucked by ignite. I don't know who's idea it was to give this damn summoner spell so much power, but it's complete nonsense and deserves a nerf. A summoner spell shouldn't do more than an abilities worth of damage, ever.

Also yes, I know fourth is spelled wrong, I didn't have room in the title.

Can't we just remove it instead? It's the only Summoner Spell with Direct Target Damage.

What's the counterplay to a 600 Target Range Point-to-Click Spell that deals 505 damage at max level anyway...

Yes it should. You’re giving up a massive map presence (summoner 12) when taking ignite, so it should be very powerful. I have no issue with it being strong considering it was pretty weak before. It’s like how it was in season 2, which I’m fine with.

Its pretty obnoxious seeing how so many people in low elo just take ignite top lane when you have TP. You can just never fight them without jungler help because of the absurd numerical advantage they have. Really unfun and uninteractive with how powerful it is in the early game, even being further showcased by how the overwhelming majority of supports just take ignite now.

Its literally not doing that much. Innate regen, potions, barrier, heal, theres so many things that passively and actively reduce the damage it deals. Its a dot, not an instant damage.

First off it's a fourth. Secondly 80 is roughly a fifth of a level 1 adc's HP. However it's still a tad too high. It should be reduced to a mid area between when it was worthless and now.

I wish they would do some reworks on the spells. Give summoner 21 something. Heal is all around a better option in all cases. It even counters ignite better since ignite last 5 seconds and barrier only blocks 2 seconds of it. And who takes summoner 1 ever?
