is coaching worth it?

some coaches can raise your skill a lot, but its only if you truely want to learn and improve. you have 2 learn from the coaching and such and use its full potential not half ass and waste it or it isnt worth.

I'd recommend finding someone willing to help you for free. They don't have to be in diamond elo to know how to play like a diamond player by the way. So don't look at that too closely. How does the saying go? Those who can't do, teach?

Yes. I was bronze 4, shuffling between b5 and b3. I took 2 paid one-hour lessons. A month later I was bronze 2. It makes a huge difference. I've taken a few more lessons, each time it helped me a lot. I'm silver 3 now, and still slowing going up.
