Problem with low tier players.

I'm no amazing league of legends player. Shit I'm only level 23... But I keep running into a problem where almost everyone my level are absolute morons. When I say morons I mean fighting 1v3s at level 2, ganking with no items on a full built team, staying in lane the WHOLE game and not taking one tower, not killing minions, not buying items, standing still while fighting... etc. Like I stated earlier I'm no high tier challenger player but I do watch a lot of LCS matches, YouTube guides, and try and study and improve my own game play as I climb in level. It gets really, really, R E A L L Y frustrating to play with people who have no game sense what so ever.

So my question is what do you think Riot could do to separate the "I'm only level 25 because I've played 3000 games but I've never gotten a kill" from the "I'm level 22 but I average 10/1/4".

Because as the system sits now, you can be a decent level player by just playing enough, even if every game you do absolutely nothing.

Low level and low tier are two different things.

I understand that. What I meant was less skilled players at high(er) levels.

I think the leveling system is in place for players to learn the game, however I think it's a common agreement (even among Riot employees) that it doesn't do much to teach players; you're typically expected to grind and learn by experience. This is why Riot is continuously trying to upgrade the tutorials and beginner system.

My suggestion to you is to grind through intermediate bot games (usually a guaranteed win in under 30 mins, but you can cut it down to under 10 minutes if you have a team that's willing to just hard shove mid, recall and dorans stack, teleport back, shove, rinse and repeat). That or grab a few exp boosts (probably not cost efficient, but it might save some time, I've personally never used them though).

Riot has methods of matching players based on actual skill (MMR, I don't know how it works too well though), though I'm not sure how it applies to <lvl 30 players.

Yea you can usually find coherent players in bot match's more than pvp.

I have an EXP boost to hopefully get me out of this hell hole, but it's still draining to play with these people.

Brah, I'm in Silver and people still go in 1v3, don't CS, and stand still to fight. I think you're overestimating how good your average league of legends player is.
