Leo's Passive Vs Lux's
Leona is a tank cc support with a damage buff Passive based on landing abilities on enemies minions or champions alike.
Lux is a glass cannon cc mage pseudo support with a damage buff Passive based on landing abilities on enemies, minions and champions alike.
I'm a Leona player and been doing it for three years and I love this champion to death. Though my main problem is why isn't her Passive scalable based on Mr and armor. Or another that I have is that Lux may proceed the dmg off her Passive of her own accord while Leo cannot thus limiting Leo's viability in other places.
In season 4 I started playing with a group of people who were arguably amazing players but they did some of the weirder builds like jungle ad leo, ad top thresh or other random builds that were different to me when I first started thinking that every champ had a specific place and they can't leave it. So experiencing these games I spent with these people opened my eyes to the idea that you can make things work when they shouldnt.
The point of my argument is that opening up Leo's Passive in the same way as Lux's or adding a scalable element could make her more viable outside botlane instead of some niche pick where some Mastery 7 4 million point Leona player can use her in toplane or midlane. This is an argument that could be applied to a slew of champs whose passives with small qol changes could increase viability and allow for a more open "Meta".
I understand that Leona is a champ who is seeing consistent play and isn't just some niche response pick when Ali is banned and thresh or braum have been picked already but I do think her Passive needs work especially when Lux does the same thing.
