Is Relic shield still good on ADCs?

Might work into lanes meant to wear you down slowly (such as a Soraka+Ashe lane). But I wouldn't bother with it, unless you feel like you have a good need for that extra defensive power.

Or you get dorans shield and second wind, or dorans blade and the life steal gain .

No because the heal was cut in half for ranged champs and no longer upgrades to a shield

Me and my friend always got it for the gold. Never cared for the shield or healing it gave. Always helped my support out in getting items faster.
