I've been abusing this ever since the new matchmaking rolled out. This is all you have to do; instead of actually picking your secondary role, just pick mid and behold as every game you receive your primary role. And even if by some miracle you're stuck with mid, trade it off, chances are that someone on your team is an autofilled mid main.

Been doing this for a while as a support player, got my first time mid just last game and that was due to a 4 man premade which is super rare (a 4 man premade looking for a mid that is, not just 4 man premades)

For other roles and regions you may need to reset queue earlier.

if your a jungle player I'm pretty sure you ain't ever getting auto-filled in s9 they single handily made that the least played role in s9

I agree jungle is so unpopular. People hate that role more than they hate support. But I don't quite understand why.
It's because people hate junglers in ranked because the delusional one trick one role masses believe the jungler's purpose is to wander the map to make people win lane. While the donkeys scream at the jungler, Riot's completely backward behavior policy sides with these abusive teammates because as long as they disagree with playing to win it becomes an argument apparently started by the jungler trying to fucking explain the game to people who should know better and is "not cool and we are trying to stop this" so they punish the victim.

and if those champions are banned , they just pick anything and feed , So always pray that your mid laner doesn't main them
and always pray that your Jungler isn't a Mid main that will pick 
and power farm the whole game
