Should My Solo/Rank Have Been Reset?

Should my duo/solo be still the rank I ended at in S6 even though there was no duo/solo? My rank is still the same and when I played my first ranked preseason match it added LP to the LP I ended the season with. Should it have been reset or is that only for flex queue? Currently, I cannot do 10 games of placement series to see where I am during preseason unless I do flex.

Solo rank starts where the dynamic queue rank last season was. It'll only reset once season 7 starts.

Until season 7 starts, you can continue to climb in solo/duo from where you left off in season 6 and try to get a higher rank, which will in turn make it easier to get placed higher for season 7.
