Does anyone else play Trundle?

his purpose is to counter an entire class riot has bashed into a pulp through non-compensated nerfs and introduction of universal auto-include counters

I like Trundle, but the question is why? Why play Trundle when you have Jarvan, Nunu or any other jungle that makes the job better.

The last time I used him, in late, the R animation was so slow that I was killed while casting it.

Why even put yourself through that right now lmao

It's a bad meta for trundle.

But honestly, what killed him for me, is that I can't bite towers...

I mean, I PICK Trundle. I wouldn't say I actually get to PLAY Trundle anymore.

His E is the single best feeling ability in the game.

I used to play him top when tanks (outside of support) were a thing in soloq lol.

I just kinda got into playing him top lane and support. He is a lot of fun even though he could use some buffs to make him more relevant in the meta. I think the w buff was good for his jungling and laning as an overall, but it still just isn't enough. Hopefully he will keep getting buffs till he can duel well against his good match-ups.

btw when champions like olaf and trundle are forced to build stuff like cinderhulk+knights vow or redemption as their rush items you know that something is fucked up when it comes to power of range

i play him or warwick when i need to outsustain/duel my enemy. hes similar yet risky version of warwick (depends how you look at it). trundle can beat urgot late game while so far in my warwick games warwick wins early its just that urgots ult punishes warwick passive the triple healing.

That ice spike thing he does is laughably useless most of the time. When you build him damage he dies in two hits. You build him bruiser he does no job well. You build him tank he does no damage. He's got mana issues. His E and R are deceptively bad and SEEM like they are powerful, but they suck. He's just a bad champion.

Apparently I haven't played a single game of him since the mastery system came out...

I used to pick him just to trash out of lane Nasus, Vlad (old version), Garen, Trynda, among others. Then, he got hit by the nerf bat. He got some recent buffs tho, but i think his jungle viability is trash tier. There are better jungle picks.

I do, been playing him near exclusively since season 2. I don't play SR anymore (where he's probably one of the worst champs right now), but he at least still has a place on 3v3.

im taking a break from league, but he is one of my go-to toplaners and has been for a long while. he has a lot of strong matchups vs other melee ADs thanks to the goofy amount of stat-steroids in his kit, his ultimate actually lives up to the name of Serious Troll Shi**, and his pillar can be absolutely godly when used properly. the only thing that held me back from playing him more is my newfound love for Akali, and the fact that he scales-off so hard into the lategame.

Pretty sure he was all the rage right before worlds and he's gotten buffs since then, so idk what happened besides powers farmers just not being relevant due to xp changes

Also, trundle has a kit that specifically counters tanks, so unlike other *cough tank killers *cough cough he actually sucks when tanks are unplayable garbage tier

Trundle is fantastic vs tanks who sadly are not being played too often right now, and not fantastic vs mobile champs which are being played a ton right now.

I don't really have much reason to play him...

I love trundle, but with tanks being kinda out of the meta and broken tank eater vayne in every game. I just can't play him atm
