Nobody knows.
How long did your game last btw?
You need to be better than others playing the same champion. Many factors come into play - cs, kills, deaths, assists etc.
First of all, thank you for uploading those videos.
So why did you get that S- rank? I think its because of your better item build, your contribution to your team, your quick decision making and being the biggest deciding factor in this match.
Let's look at what you did:
Your video starts 11 minutes into the match, all towers on both sides are still up, there's been some kills on both sides but nothing enough to swing the match into a sure win for either side. Both tops have some deaths and kills, yours is doing a little better it seems but not much, middle is doing very well for your side beating the enemy in both kills and cs, bot lane isn't looking so good though, enemy is leading in cs and kills and looking at their score they can't seem to do anything to them without assistance, that can spell doom for your late-game if this gets out of control.
And that is kinda what happens almost at the very start, another death at bot-lane. But then here you come to save the day, you prepare an ambush for them and feed two kills to your struggling ADC, and no death on your side, very well played sir. It even allowed your bot lane to get a tower out of it. This was just the boost they needed to get back into the game. It also seems to be causing some discontent in their chat, that's never a good sign for a team. (btw while this goes down in bot-lane your fed mid-laner dies to the feeding enemy top laner, that's another bad sign. But somehow your top got a tower, pretty nice. And your mid takes out the enemy jungler. After the tower was taking at bot it seems the supports had a fight and the enemy won that one, luckily the enemy ADC was not there to benefit from it. A little later your mid takes her first tower, all first towers on the enemy side have been taken now.)
Then your top dies to the combined effort of their top and their jungler. Luckily you and your mid have time to respond before they can push your tower. Your mid seemed to have wanted to ambush their jungler again, a good effort but he's kinda already behind by this point I think, you made the right call and pulled him away to join you on top side, killing their top and preventing him for pushing on your tower. That was a good call. And after that you pretty much have free roam in the enemy jungle and steal whatever you feel like for the rest of the match. You pretty much shut down any hope of the enemy jungler recovering. After taking both enemy red buff and raptors you help top take the second tower and forced the enemy top to walk back to fountain. (Shortly after all that your mid dies to the enemy mid, jung and sup. But you side takes dragon for even more team gold.)
Right after dragon you are quick enough to make it to bot lane to turn an ambush that would have cost the life of your top laner into a decisive win for your side and net yourself 2 kills and get a tower out of it. Very well done, because your ADC would not have been fast enough to save his life. And then some more jungle stealing of blue and gromp while your bot lane pushing the advantage you created to get the first inhibitor tower without losing anyone.
Then you go mid but nothing happens so you steal raptor again and krugs. Your mid takes out their mid. And once again you play the hero and save your top by killing their jungler and top. (You could probably have gotten the top inhibbitor tower off that but instead you back.) Due to that double kill the second mid tower only has their sup as defense and it goes down easy. After your back you steal their red again while enemy sup dies defending their mid inhibitor tower, you then join them and kill their top and take the tower and inhibitor. You almost got the kill on their ADC but they surrendered.
And you do all this without dieing a single time, you did have 1 death but that was before all of this.
You where a deciding factor in getting at least 3 or 4 tower kills and turned around at least two fights all by yourself and it was thanks to you that your bot lane won, I think you where the carrying factor in this game and you deserve that S- rank.
But...
The real question still stands, how the hell does the mastery ranking system work? What kind of underlying analytics can account for the grading of your performance?
shrugs Fuck if I know. But I do think the common idea of "get better cs", "improve your kda", etc needs to be thrown out a window, or be smothered to death with a pillow, or drowned next to that sack of kittens. I was never a fan of that, it doesn't explain anything. Sure, getting cs is important but only because it makes you stronger because you get to buy better items sooner. Even my own idea of gold total is more important seems weak to me now.
I don't know how Riot can recognize your good decision making. But my guess would be it involves the taking of objectives, any deaths and kills that happen might only be important in relation to objectives. Any damage taken and dealt is only important in relation to the outcome of the fight, etc.
The most important thing is you made the right decisions, you where there when your teammates needed you and your presence was a positive influence when you where there, thanks to you people that would have died didn't, objectives that could not have been taken where taken, you turned a faltering lane around and at the end of all those actions was a victory.
But it is also important to look and the poor performance of the enemy. Their team was tilting, their ADC even left at some point I believe. Their shoddy performance enables your team to do even better, if their ADC didn't leave then they would have had an extra man to defend those towers, if they weren't so chase happy they would not have died and would not have lost another tower. Not to say it was all bad, just bad enough at the wrong times to lose objectives due to it.
And never forget your team, you could not have done this without them. Which is another possibility to how you got such a high rank, you where a far more decisive factor in this game compared to the rest of your team, perhaps the relation of how well you do to how poor your teammates perform is an important factor for getting a good grade. Still, your team managed to get some towers on their own netting you gold and also got a few kills at the right time making your life easier.
Well that's all I got sadly, I'm not great at league so take everything I say with a helping of healthy skepticism. Only Riot know how it truly works and they ain't talking. And a single match can't really prove anything, all we can do is guess.
Good luck out there OMEET NATAS.
EDIT: I didn't realize you also uploaded the first 10 minutes of that match, my bad. You where still good there as well, could have been better (that one silly death top XD, you also could have gotten some cs top before that when you killed kled the first time) but good overall. Very good even in that first bot-lane fight, sniping varus was great.
