Tracker's knife on jungler?

So I am playing in Bronze and found that problems with vision when I am jungling. I main support, and when I play support I place as many wards as possible so I always run out of charges on my sightstone. That seems to be uncommon on Bronze, because when I play jungle, I rarely see lightspots in fog of war near bot lane. So I play Shaco and I should treat all four quarters of map as my jungle. Judging from that, I decided to try tracker's knife and found it great as I usually use sweeper or oracles for successful ganks and don't basically have wards for vision. BUT, I am not experienced in playing Shaco or jungle a lot, so I feel kinda insecure to try going ranked without red or blue smite. So i want to ask jungle mains (Shaco mains' answers would be perfect) how that influences your game. Have you tried switching to tracker's knife and how did you feel. Thanks in advance

I'm in silver at the moment and even with wards, many players lack map awareness. They suffer from tunnel vision and focus on whatever is prominently displayed in front of their champions. It isn't until after their champions die that they complain about vision problems. Anywhere between 40-60% of silver players will not even purchase a pink, the most crucial vision item in game.

I tried tracker's knife, but I've rarely enjoyed a team that took full benefit of the vision it provided them. I'd sometimes have an entire section of the jungle lit up like a Christmas tree and people still wouldn't pay attention to the map.

At low elo, tracker's knife utility is wasted. You need whatever damage you can get if you are going to carry. Lee is probably the only jungle who can effectively use tracker's knife below plat, but that's because ward hopping is his thing.

It feels great honestly, invading the enemy jungle, placing wards at their camps as you take their gold and exp only to know that he just walked by the raptors you took. When you have a team that's actually willing to ward it really shows especially when you pick Skarner. Later on, the map just lights up like a Christmas tree.

Vision wins games. I always go Trackers when I jungle because I typically play junglers that invade or are prone to invasion.

The extra vision and the sweeper is huge and it is a great item to make up for the lack of vision Bronze and Silver supports provide. They don't ward enough of they never buy sightstone.

In really high elo you even see junglers buy sight stone because it is low cost and really helps with figuring out where the enemy jungler is.

If you dont play a jungler that requires the extra slow from blue smite or needs red smite to 1v1 every champion in the game like jax, graves, yi or something always get tracker's knife for wards. Lee and nunu can use it for example. On shaco or any other champ that benefit from color smites only get tracker's if you think your support wont buy sightstone, with tank junglers you can even buy sightstone and get colored smite because of that.

If you play anyone going defensive or a tank, get it. Otherwise, the combat stats from Chilling or Challenging are gonna help much more.

As someone good said, 'it doesn't matter if you can see them if you can't fight them'. And in solo queue, ur team is not gonna group to pick someone off with ur vision.
