Ping spamming should be punishable

So I was Shaco jungling when this Garen was asking for help. "OK, lets see what he got" I thought and ganked him. Ye just stood there after I came out of deceive and kept autoattacking Lulu, died and then I died too. Then he writes "LOL", goes back to lane and dies again. "OK he is trolling" I thought and kept playing muting him. Problem is, that he kept pinging for help entire game even if I was at bot side. He kept spamming question marks every time someone died then just left lane after losing two turrets. During all this time his pings were tilting me so hard that I can't even explain. At the end I took off headphones. I took them off again next game with that Leblanc who kept pinging for help and spammed the shit out of "wtf was that?" pings that are sometimes used to indicate mia. That tilted me so bad that I had wild desire to afk. I have never felt this before and because of that LB with her fucking pings I really was close to alt + f4. And that's me, grown up man with two educations. I imagine how younger players would react and I really cannot understand why Riot did not seriously consider it as a problem. It DOES exist. It is just tilting people drop by drop. Little by little Increases toxicity in people. I know this post by itself might not do much, but I am adding one more post to this thread to gain attention to this problem. I don't know what solution might be. Maybe just punishing people after report about that would be god idea or so. Whatever. I hope it will get better.

Sorry rot poor edit and English.

Trust me there will be some one who will post saying "Spam ping is punishable" but no one has ever been punished for it. No one on board ever even talk about they got punish for spam pinging so I highly doubt Riot is telling the truth when they say people get punish for it since I have never heard of seen a person complain about being punished from ping.
