Riot has already stated their thoughts. which basically boils down to:

• Instead of being a lane-bully instaburst champion, she's gonna be centered around a "deception" aspect, which is more in line with her lore and thematics
• Reduced damage and increased burst time, but much higher utility
• Will be able to trick enemy champions, even if she isn't present.

I hope that answers your question, as to how exactly her kit will be changed, your guess is just as good as mine.

I would guess maybe making her passive always there, but obvious that it's the close, and then one of her abilities disguises the clone so that they can't tell the 2 apart. Just a guess, though, based on what I know about how Riot wants to rework her.
