Gank defense

I am a jungle main, but when I lane I get ganked a ton, and was wondering if anyone knows what to get ganked less or strreams or youtubers that talk about this? My last two top lane games I was ganked 8 times and 6 times pre 10 minutes in the games. The one vs Ivern and jax he ganked me 4 times before I died, after that it was just GG.

  • Is there anything you can really do about this?
  • Is it because my name is Bronies27 or GamerGurl14yo?
  • Or just because I happen to get unlucky?

It really doesn't seem to matter what lane I am in I get a shit ton of gank aggro. The part that baffles me is I dont die to ganks 2,3, or even 5 times in a row, WHY DO THEY KEEP COMMING?

Pay attention to what champion has chosen which lane on the enemy side. Whatever lane is ganked more often is the lane that team wants to carry from

Use your jungle experience to your advantage. Look at what champion the enemy jungler is using, and judge what camp they should be at for each part of the early game. Try and freeze your wave or have it push toward you, but not as a huge wave, around the time the enemy jungler should be on your side of the map.

Deep wards help with this, because some people have very odd clear paths after the first few clears due to ganking lanes and stuff. When your jungler is around ask if they can accompany you into the enemy jungle to get some safe vision. Knowledge is power here, and the more you know about your enemy the better.

If a jungler has decided to full on camp you do everything in your power to keep the minion wave near your tower before your enemies reach the point where they can safely tower dive. If this is a common occurrence for you get the stopwatch mastery and foil a dive with it. If you come close to being able to fight your lane opponent between ganks ask your jungler for help, otherwise inform them you're getting camped and they need to pressure the other lanes/get dragon.

Place some wards , watch them, and assume you're going to get ganked. It's all about awareness.

Camping is the dominant jungle strategy right now. It is somewhat BS how profitable it became over the years, agreed on that, but the best thing you can do as a toplaner is realizing that if you got ganked once, most likely three of four another ganks are incoming in succession and play accordingly.
