A question about Zed ultimate "appearing behind the target"

I was just wondering about this... Does it mean behind relevant to wear zed is, or does it mean behind relevant to wear the target is facing? If it is the latter, does it take it from where the target was facing when the ult started, or when the ult finishes? I'm wondering for something like, Morgana or Ahri, Is it possible to charm/ bind zed the second he comes out of ult (start the cast while he is untargettable and the cast finishes as the becomes targettable) Or if you start casting in one direction, will Zed appear behind you? or could you just turn around and cast it and Zed actually appears in front of you? Sorry if this is unclear, i kind of find it hard to express this, which is also why i have the hideously vague title because i couldn't put all this in there, hope the mods don't mind.

It's relative to where the target is facing when he reappears. Up until then, nothing you do matters: the instant he reappears, wherever his target is facing, he appears opposite that spot. If you cast early, your champion turns at the start of the cast time, so anything you fire will miss. Barring fancy flash use to move him in front of an ability, you have to not react until he reappears to hit him.
