How to solve the mobility crisis: invisibility

I have a really good idea on how to fix the mobility creep in League: give every immobile champion invisibility. I know it sounds crazy, but hear me out. I got the idea from Lux W because it used to provide invisibility on cast.

Anivia Brand Malzahar Lux Zyra Xerath Syndra

^ These champions are outclassed and outmatched versus any mobility comp. With the mobility meta, every champion has 1000 gap closers, so it's impossible for these guys to do their jobs. Mobility used to be a very rare thing; anivia's wall was actually useful once. Nowadays, anivia's wall? NP, just jump over it with your passive Kalista or one of your 10 other gap closers.

Here are some suggested experimental changes: Lux W (Shield) -----------------> Now gives invisibility to Lux Zyra R ---------> When she is within the radius of her ultimate, she would turn invisible (so for about a second) and her plants would turn invisible for the duration. Syndra new passive -----> Syndra will turn invisible when she is below 30% hp. This gives her the safety she needs against assassins. Malzahar ---> Really strong already so maybe just using the Q Silence Wall on himself would turn him invisible.

I think this would only work if you gave many champions invisibility similar to the mobility meta ( everyone and their mother has a gap closer). Champions with one dash used to be really powerful, but now it's a required part of a champion kit and commonplace. Instead of reworking old champion abilities to give them jumps and gap closers, give them invisibility. Every immobile champ should hav einvisibility.

TL;DR Give every immobile champion some form of invisibility to counter the mobility meta

You know how Runaan's and Tiamat's passives can only be used by ranged/melee champions respectively?

How about a pair of boots with an invisibility active that's only available if the champion has no mobile or invisibility moves, but will break invisibility on spellcast (similar to Eve)?

Eh, probably not a great idea but I thought I could pitch in.

How exactly does invisibility counter mobility?

Would it somehow allow them to hit a hyper-mobile champion with skillshots?

gee all the champs you listed are ranged AOE cheese mages. I vote no.

I think solving a problem with another problem isn't that right way to go. Plus, as riot has stated before, a Kit does not need something that it cannot function without. It'd be fun to give Taric a charm, because he;s so damn fabulous, but he doesn't need it to function. Same goes for invisibility. They do not need it to function.

The problem with mobility isn't mobility in itself, its the fact that Riot it removing and straying away from "targeted abilities". If they rework a champion with a targeted spell it will most likely be turned into a skillshot instead.

In my opinion what the immobile champions needs is a targeted stun, playing Brand vs a champion with mobility is hard af, landing anything other than E is really really hard. Imagine if his Q was a targeted spell, stop them from jumping briefly and getting massive damage out.

Riot is in a tough spot now, they realize targeted spells lacks counterplay and don't look as flashy as skillshots, but with more and more mobility champions coming out each passing year, champions without targeted spells and/or mobility can never survive.

I feel though, that there should be a price to pay for mobility, having an easier escape/initiator should have some drawbacks, longer cds, less damage or something. The only spell currently with a clear drawback is the new reworked overdrive (blitzcrank W), which slows you after the ability is over, having some drawbacks on those mobility spells would make it somewhat easier for immobile champions to find some breathing room.
