I play ekko often. I am not the best at him but i love palying him. However I hate him tank. I do not know how to play him tank. I feel like he has waaaaay less dmg than an ap ekko and does not survive longer than an ap ekko either. He dies just as quick. So I am just wondering. What is the purpose of a tank ekko? What should they do? Should they initiate fights then leave to peel for carry? splitpush? try and steal objectives and ult back? I really dont get it haha. Help
do some dps while staying alive to use all his slows and cc. if he was ap he would die very very quickly.
The purpose of tank ekko was to get nerfed. This has happened in several stages.
The point is you use his Q, E and threat area of his R to be as disruptive as possible, while still doing decent sustained damage with his passive and abilities. He is virtually impossible to run away from or catch up with.
His playstyle is something like a much more mobile zac or sejuani.
The reason for tank Ekko is to basically abuse the abundance of CC and your ult.
When you build

, you want to take as much damage as you can, while using your abundance of slows.
Then ulting, and since you have an abundance of health, when you ult you do an abundance of damage.
I don't like it either.
