Suggestion: Lich Bane's Improved Auto-Attack Now Uses the Crit Animation

I like playing mages. I also like all the cool animations that Riot has put into this game. However, a lot of champions will never plausible build any crit chance. Where almost any AD champion can do fairly well with a Triforce build, AP Mages don't do this in regular gameplay. What I propose is simple: the impowered auto-attack from Lich Bane will use the Critical Strike animation. This has the added effect of making it appear more powerful, as well as letting some amazing animations see the light of day once in a while. (This could also me expanded to IBG for the tanks, and maybe to the other Sheen items).

Why not have it proc on all Sheen-like auto enhancers? Sheen, Lich Bane, Trinity Froce, Iceburn goblet?

To be fair, Spellblade in general should do this. Most people who buy Gauntlet won't ever crit under natural circumstances either.

I play Vel'koz ADC and I've gotta say his Crit animation is by far the best in the game. This would let other people see its glory.

I had no idea Velkoz had a crit animation for the longest time. It looks really cool and it would be cool to see it in game more often with a viable build!

Sheen procs using the crit animation would be so great.

There was a thread before, but nothing came of it as of yet.

So we'd better keep bringing it up until Rito implements this simple yet brilliant idea!

As I recall, one of the things pointed out was that crit is usually reserved for Marksmen, who typically have crit animations which don't really differ that much from their regular attacks (because honestly, how different can we make shooting a regular old projectile weapon look compared to swinging around a fancy weapon or tossing out some cool magic?).

Which is one of the best reasons for letting more classes use that animation in a build they can actually use.

An overall visual update of Sheen procs would be fantastic. A fuzzy, colored glow on the hands, followed by an ordinary attack animation, is neither informative nor visually impressive, especially compared to more champion-specific empowered autoattacks, like Kasadin's. Adding a crit animation would be a great help, I think.

Yes. Very yes. There are so many awesome crit animations we never get to see, like Vel'koz's triple-laser. (Granted we probably still wouldn't see that one much, but I would love an excuse to change that.)
