Ice Witch, Nice Witch: You Wanted a Lissandra Passive Rework?

I have seen talk of a Lissandra passive rework off and on from Reds for a while, with no results. Actually, this does not bother me at all. Personally, I like the lane minigame that evolves when you have a Doran's Ring and auto a whole mave of minions almost to death, then clear them with your free spell for mana gain... Anyway, was talking with some friends, and this idea came up. As a Lissandra player, I think it would be interesting. Please share your thoughts!

Innate: Iceborn Queen. Lissandra's damaging spells deal 1% more damage for every 1% the target is slowed.

Similarly to Ashe's passive, it would only apply to targets that were already slowed, so her current CC-heavy kit would not necessarily receive the entire benefit (she would need to Q or Ult first). However, it would give her interesting team synergy, like how teams with Poisons make Cassiopeia better, teams with knock-ups make Yasuo better, and teams with fears make Nocturne better. Additionally, it fits well with her Lore as a leader and one who uses others to increase her own strength. Also, need I mention how much slows are a part of Freljord kits?

Obviously, many of her numbers, and maybe even some of her CC would need to be re-thought, but I thought this idea was so neat that I needed to share it.

Cheers! -Nixtarma

Her damage is good enough late game and her early game is where she has problems, and while her current passive buffs her early game, your passive would only buff mid-late. But the idea itself is interesting. Maybe instead of damage buff reduce her CDs if she hits slowed unit with her spells (smth like -30% cd only for spell that hit slowed unit). And I actually had another idea about her passive: If Lissandra slows already slowed unit, it will be rooted for the duration of the overlap. If she slows rooted unit or roots slowed unit-it will be stunned for the duration of the overlap. Only her own spells/items are counted.

I kinda like this idea. A lot better suiting than other concepts I've seen. Although it doesn't seem like it would fit her play pattern as much. Her short range Q isn't good for chasing, but the kiting could be emphasized with a passive like this.

Nice Idea.. but... Zilean

So we would need, A) A Cap for this passive, which would be kinda boring or B) make it super weak to balance it.

A reworked passives should, in addition to having team synergy, also help her mana sustain during the laning phase.

There should be a rework or nothing can make our witch balanced.

Her damageoutput is high enough, and such a passive would be horrible to balance...

What she needs is a bit more suriviabillity to make up for her low range, low mobillity(u get in with E, but you ain't gonna get out any time soon) and more dps-focused kit. I'd prefer her passive also geting the cd lowered for damageing slowed champions as well, so she can obtain it more frequently in teamfights and synergieses a bit with slows from allies, and i would add a small shield to the passive proc. This would allow her to be more tanky if she jumps into the fray to lockdown a focuse target, as she would get the passive shield on the first cast(probably), and if she hits multiple members with her combo, she will gain a second shield pretty quickly. It would her also help to trade in lane.
