Guys in Heroes of Newerth they have an all mid map called Mid Wars and to compensate for the OP heroes they added a banning phase where 10 heroes are banned everybody gets to ban 1.
Why can't we get the same instead of being forced to random? nobody really likes to random

Other moba games like HoN has this same mode with an All pick but you get to ban 10 heroes to balance it off. They could even give us options to ban 20 heroes.

Thats like asking why Dota 2 has things in it that Dota 1 did. Because thats what makes the format what it is.
