I don't think Zed is broken, I just think Hexdrinker/Maw is.
I do believe that the recent Maw nerf hurt ADs a bit, but I feel that hexdrinker should take a small hit too. I'm fine with an item being a counter to magic damage burst, but I feel that early game, it just completely nullifies any sort of kill potential for most mages. I think what you could do Riot is lower the shield early game abd have it scale harder into late, where Mages won't instantly pop through the shield late game due to the amount of penetration they have, however don't buff it too hard late game where enemies who have Maw impossible to kill late game as a mage. What do you guys think? I know how to play against a good Zed decently while not feeding, but I feel that once he gets hexdrinker, it's A LOT harder to fight or outplay him since the shield and the magic resist saves him everytime.
