Quit because of Reworks!? How many of you know someone? Rework = Riot Giving Up. GG

Do you know anyone who quit because their preferred champions were Reworked?

Do you know anyone who plays much less because of reworks to their favorite champions?

Do you think any champion was impossible to balance? I do not believe this is true in any single case. Not even Poppy.

Every single champion pre rework did not need to be destroyed. When riot gives up on champions that many players are dedicated to they give up on those players.

This might not seem like a big deal but these players are our friends. They are our que mates; and reworks add up over time. Riot is destroying their tenured player base slowly. Players quitting is a snowball effect. I currently have a group of friends and were all looking for a game to play together; but we wont play league of legends because Riot Reworked my 2 champions and I do not want to play anymore.

How many situations like this exist?

Giving up on balancing a long term and tenured champion = Giving up on long term and tenured players.

Shame on you Riot

I love how people can be so blind that they can't see that the entire kit of a champion can be unhealthy so they need a rework so they can have the ability to be balanced.

Poppy was unbalancable no question about it.

Times change and some old kits don't fit with leagues direction. Sometimes it sucks, but it is not giving up it is understanding that some stuff doesn't work.

I was close to quitting when Kat got reworked and stopped playing as much as I used to for like 2-3 months and still whenever I play her wish I could get her reverted but Ive just given up hope and been trying to get confidant enough to play Lb in ranked and just play her 24/7

Quinn Play her from time to time, not as much as when I mained the old Quinn. Zac My play style was completely shut down and is unplayable now, there was no problem with Zac and he had such an amazing build variety. Urgot Same as Quinn, didn't main Urgot, but I loved his kit and would like to see his old homing in mechanics return in another form. Taric Old Taric jungle was the thing man, got him to mastery 5 (Before tokens) and almost all my games were S with him in the Jungle, a godlike character. Now he's just, nah.

Champions that I feel like were right to get reworked: Skarner Loved him back then, love him now. His mini game is a bit weak, but he worked well in the juggernaut meta. Warwick I like his kit now, he truly needed a rework and it turned out fine. Swain My new main actually, he has everything I want now, demons, whispering audio, black birds, epic theme in game. I always wanted to try out Swain, but his first iteration felt a bit lackluster to me, to be granted neither of them really had the "Grand Tactician" feel in their kit, but yeah.

Overall I feel that only 6 or 7 reworks have been mandatory, everything else feels like fixing something that isn't broken.

I miss old Shen, Soraka, Taric, Zac, and Sejuani. However, that isn't going to make me quit the damn game.
