I think you are missing the point. Champions are meant to be on equal footing with one another, and they just are not in terms of balance. Take Ahri for example. She doesn't have any % damage, just true damage on her Q. People cry about that because of how mobile she is once she gets her ult, she gets a speed boost on her Q now as well. But people may not like to play her or other mobile champions that are in the game, maybe they want to play Anivia, but Ahri outplays anivia simply because, she can move around anivia, and jump through her wall. As for the supports, Sona doesn't have a shield that can block damage from ever reaching the target for 3-4 seconds. People will complain about Braum cause of that because hes the only support that can. Bard nobody will complain about because useless.

Indeed, and I don't believe Riot will ever address those champions that are far too weak to be utilized effectively.
