Zed (not another shit storm Ahri fanboy complaint area)

The main problem with Zed, at least what I feel, is that his ult makes him UNTARGETABLE. Personally I feel that Zhonya's and perhaps an AD item similar to it should be the only forms of untargetability in the game as it has little to no counterplay in it. Imagine if when Zed went in that you could actually hit him when he ult'd, this would take a decent amount of skill to use properly. If he is targetable during his ult he couldn't pull of as many clutch plays but that isn't the point of an assassin. The point of an assassin in my opinion is someone who can go in, kill a SINGLE person and can get out. They not really be able to do anything. This is already fairly good in Zed's kit as he can go back to his shadow and then not really be able to do anything. Back to the point on hand however, Zed's power comes too much from his ult. When his ult isn't up, unless he's super fed or your super squishy, he really doesn't have too much kill potential on you. THIS IS ALL FINE. What Riot needs to do is make him targetable during his ult and instead make him blink or dash to his target so that people he clicks R on can actually have some sort of counterplay to his kit. Even talon has counterplay, he needs to get in fairly close range even to get to you but Zed can just w ult getting to you with little time to react. TL:DR Make Zed targetable during his ulti or change it completely.
