I need help

I've been in bronze for two seasons. Last Season was my first year playing league, and when I played ranked, I got to bronze 1 immediately. I blew off ranked for the rest of the season 7, and the came back to it at season 8. I'm a toplane main, specifically and Urgot one trick, and believe I have fairly good Micro skills on Urgot. I've gotten into the trap where I blame my team for lost games and blame riot for their unintentional nerfs on my main (See here for my full rant: https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/gameplay-balance/uHPy8lHF-urgot-leagues-most-forgotten-rework), when in the end, I know that while I have the micro skills to get out of bronze 1 and into silver, i refused to accept that my macro skills may be to blame for my rank.

I just want to know how I can improve my macro skills, such as shot-calling, how to shove/freeze waves, how to improve my laning experience, and how to successfully let the enemy push while still maintaining good CS. I know all of this sounds simple, but I'm struggling and need advice to help me climb out of this elo hell. Any advice is appreciated.

Wave management is easy. Freeze close to ur tower whenever u can for as long as you can if you can do it safely while denying farm to the enemy laner. Shove the lane whenever you lose your freeze to reset the wave And give urself time to back and buy. You can also make a quick roam to mid. If ur enemy freezes and it's not safe to break the freeze, ask ur jungler to help. A jungler will never say no to lane farm. It's a delicacy to us feral beings who live between the lanes.

Letting the enemy push while keeping good cs is the skill of farming under turret. Go in practice mode and sit at a turret and let the enemy bot push the lane in and practice for exactly 1 hour and I guarantee you will be significantly better at it.

Another option you have as a top laner is to shove your wave and take enemy jungle farm whenever the enemy jungler shows bot. If the enemy top laner isn't a champ who can hard shove you'll be able to get back before you miss much and you'll be able to pick up honey fruit, jungle farm, and possibly a buff along the way. If ur jungler is in the area, shove your wave and invade with him. A good top laner takes over the top side enemy jungle too either by directly challenging him for farm and looking for picks or by getting deep wards to track the enemy jungler.

And if you can't do any of that for some reason, duck into your own jungle and make sure the wnemy jungler isn't stealing your junglers food.

Essentially you should always be doing something.

In case you didn't know, you generally need the enemy minions to out number uours by 4 to have a freeze but you can also face tank a few hits and pull a wave out so ur next wave catches up then duck into the bish to drop aggro so they meet your wave outside turret range.

If you learn how to manipulate the minion waves and act like the entire top jungle is your responsibility/territory too, you create a Lot of opportunities to put yourself ahead.

As said, all about wave management. If you get a powerspike you should also try to contest an objective or take it freely with your jungler. Since you are top try to get harold ASAP and take your tower so you can move around the map - but keep your tower up as best as possible.
