how can you build tanky if conqueror needs you to build damage to do damage?

I still prefer lethal tempo on Yi honestly.

I would use conqueror with a tankier version of Yi because he needs to stay alive longer to make use of it, but the fact that the conqueror rune exists doesn't really make me want to build tanky at all while there are alternatives.

they reduced his base true damage cause he would go tank and still melt squishy this rune revert his nerfs
