smiting plants with poppy

i feel like smiting plants for the health restore or some kind of buff would be really cool movement speed oracles biscuit and im not really sure if poppy should be throwing her shield at the plants or if she is currently throwing the shield at wards i cant remember but i think thats a waste i would imagine there are other champs whos passives arent triggered by plants and wards but idk just a thot
