Poppy 7.22 Feedback
howdy im a poppy main and here is my report on the current state of poppy in 7.22
i will start by saying when ornn was released he was underperforming and he was given a massive buff and id like to see the same done with poppy because she too has a hammer.
secondly when poppy uses her full body weight to charge not only does she have half the cast range of vaynes condemn but she has half the knockback distance, this is not realistic at all, if anything it should be the opposite.
then there is her passive the buckler why should she have to go and pick it up theres no balance to the fact she doesnt even get a cooldown reduction for picking it up and theres no point to people stepping on it unless they want to throw salt at poppy because shes so weak (no one is going to step on it and get baited into a wall stun sorry)
before the changes to runes and masteries i was able to bring 24 lethality into the jungle which carried poppies lack of damage all the way into late game now she is unable to squeeze enough damage or survivability out of any of the new rune combinations just look at her defenses as damage and look at her damage with tank runes its pitiful.
so here is my proposition, because poppy has an excessive amount of balancing in her kit so we are going to take out some of that balancing:
passive: poppy no longer has to pick up her shield its basically pointless unless you like to here her hopes that its not dented, if you really insist on this at least give the shieild some directional indication (draven, kat) and i really think if she did pick it up it should reduce the cooldown on her abilities otherwise her passive should also include reduce ability cooldown on basic attack (or the on hit from the shield), its a fun passive and i think it applies really well to her kit because she is so eager to reengage or peel with e w and her ultimate and doesnt have the cooldown reduction to do so.
q: either 2% more max health damage or double the base ad or ad ratios, its technically a skill shot and doesnt guarentee it deals the second part of its damage without a e combo also a little more range would be nice.. have you seen her try to chase down ppl with q? its pathetic maybe you could make it like a real q proc and have it be on hit so i dont miss...like any other melee in the game has to worry about missing there main damage ability or maybe reduce the delay for the second part of the damage its really sad to see them escape the full damage of the e q combo.
w: if u want to give double armor and magic resist values below 30% health why not just reset the cooldown as well or at least increase the amount of armor/magic resist she gains considering the new patch gutted her resistance potential i personally like the idea of increasing the duration of the block because if u use it to initiate u lose the buff before they can escape your e combo and dash away (smart) decreased cooldown plz
e: as mentioned previously her e pales in comparison to vaynes e especially considering vayne has a much higher damage output across the board when u try to e vayne as poppy she just condems away without any possibility of recovering while in fact if they had opposite ranges and knockback distance she could re engage easily if you look at all the other melees with gap closes they have alot more kill potential with less risk. range up knockback up stun duration increased to 2 at level 1 (from 1.6) and honestly the damage of this needs to be doubled, at least the collision element in an effort to match her qs potential for damage output id also like to mention here if she uses her buckler after her e combo there is a significant delay in her chase/follow up potential and i am propising that if she knocks them into the wall she deals the buckler damage and catches the shield in one go so she can focus movement.
r: i really dont want to touch on her ability to knock people x amount of meters toward their base rather than the direction you knock them in in regards to its balance but the uncharged damage is 50%?! thats bullshit im sorry but you dont just intentionally nerf a champions execute potential i am consientiously using my ult to execute and its just sad and NOT ONLY THAT but immunity while mid air? are you freaking kidding me? UNLEASH HER projectile width increase plz
if you dont like my ability changes she needs more hp more damage more armor more mr cooldowns would be nice maybe her exp per lvl base movement speed attack speed mana regen just everything on her needs to be buffed one way or another in order to make her have the potential to actually carry games id like to see these buffs before zoe comes out and even further demonstrates her desperation because she needs flash so badly and as the only little girl melee in the game she should be stronger than all the other little girls in my opinion.
