This is my dream as a jungler

I apologize for the quality, it's not great.

This is a screenshot of the minimap in an LPL game (pros, not solo queue). The timer is at 1:25.

Nobody is just tower hugging. The jungle entrances are warded. If one side invaded, the other side would know how to properly react.

I'm tired of jungling and having my laners ignore me while hugging tower and holding onto trinkets. I can think of a few reasons why they would, but I would really appreciate that they'd help me (and us, since an invasion can potentially hurt everyone) so I can help them.

Remember, people. Defend and ward your jungle. You don't have to fight, you just need to provide vision and run if you have to.

  1. dont ward before 1:40 even if people in LCS do it. it makes sense in lcs, it doesnt make sense in soloQ. you can just bodyward these places and drop your trinket at 1:40 before you go to lane/leash.

  2. if a botlaner stands near dragon pit at the wall, he cant be hit by snares and if the other one stands in the riverbush, he cant be flanked. jungler stands between wraith and curvebush at the redbuff-wall to guard the entrance while midlane stands in the river-curvebush and toplane stands blue-jungle entrance and everyone drops their ward at the place they are standing at 1:40. uninvadeable jungle.

look at the minimap on the picture. people warded shit but their CHAMPIONS are useless right now. they just stand in nothingness doing nothing. they could rather use their spare time to extend their ward-durations. now they will give you pull at 1:55 and if you get invaded at your redbuff, who will spot it for you?

like, its nice that they try but its actually useless.

Well this was LPL, so they warded early.

I wouldn't want people in soloQ with me warding too early tho, so I do agree with your points.

as a toplaner, i ward enemy wolf/raptor camp at around 1.05 to spot if my opponent is starting it when he has TP so i can stop them from doing it... i'll keep doing it until they catch on to the double jungling the first few camps technique

I like 1:20 personally.

AyRe CoNteMpT1 votes

is there a reason for it? because if you ward at 1:20. the ward will expire at 2:20 and you cleared your first camp with the pull at about 2:10, need 5 seconds to the next camp so you start your buff at 2:15 and the ward expires at 2:20. this means, if your enemy wants to invade you, its still very much possible.

also, why do you want to waste 20 seconds of usefullness on your champions?

My dream is for my laners to not shove their lanes so I can actually gank them instead of watching helplessly as they continuously die to the enemy jungler because they don't fucking WARD!

Dr Poro3 votes

counter gank. But yeah, it isn't always easy to predict where and when your opponent jungler will gank if all your lanes are wide open for one.

"FIORA WHERE WERE YOU?!?! I WAS UNDER THE ENEMY TOWER!?!?!?!?!" "...I'm at 25% hp....." "IDGAF! GO DIVE AND DIE SO I CAN GET A KILL!!!!!!!" "But.....you pushed them under their tower, that's impossible to gank with my hp..." "SO UESLESS!!! REPORT!!!"

That's more annoying imo.

When I play mid I always ward one side and sit in the other.

Average bot lane is the worst when not leashing. They either hug the tower or sit in the brush between krugs/gromp and the lane.

My default strategy now;

Step 1: Get ward mastery Step 2: Ward over wall http://i.gyazo.com/749d13662f0247ee2267cc0641b16834.gif

Step 3: Receive praise and/or hackusations http://i.gyazo.com/6ab5b1c695f0372e924518f4829eac6f.png

AyRe CoNteMpT14 votes

its possible to throw the ward into that brush without the mastery.

Aaaand why is this getting downvoted?

I've had little success doing it. It's got a pretty good chance of wasting your ward imo.

AyRe CoNteMpT1 votes

gotta go ahead and master it before you do it in ranked

If I don't have the type of lane opponent I need the ward for, I always try to ward a river bush when I leave. Really helps with those scuttler-dependant clears.

Bard could take his entire team through the dragon or baron pit or bot lane walls in either direction :3

I want to be the guy that does that and avoids every ward for a surprise invade.

But more to the point, I'm seeing way better invasion prevention now. I think like in Silver 4 I didn't but by Silver 1 they were guarding more paths.

I love, love, to go from red side and go into the dragon pit and ward the bushes from over the wall with the trinket range mastery. It makes invading (or choosing not to) so easy.

IT'S NOT LETTING ME DELETE THIS ;-;

Pros don't even do this in soloQ

whelp better join a ranked team then, I guess. Then my dream will be realized~

i would already be happy considering the fact that someone on the enemy team trollpicked lulu mid

and that Lulu mid was scary...

1:25 warding is pretty bad.

Look at where are your mates.

Your mates should be the wards. In Tribush (adc), River Bot bush (support) Blue bush (top), Lane/bush (mid) and Red Bush (jungler) .

Warding at 1:25 is bad. That means at 2:25, you have no vision, you can be countered-jungle, people can get ganked, and you can't ward until 3:25.

As a jungler, you can put a ward. If your mates are too late to counter a potential invade, then put some wards. But not all the wards, not that early, not everytime.

1:25 warding is pretty bad.

This was in LPL, with pros. Not soloQ. Of course I wouldn't ward at 1:25.

Nor would I advocate it. Just at 1:40 at the earliest, I guess.

Pro players ward early for some reason. And both teams, as you can see, did so. They probably had their reasons, no need to call them bad considering they are professional players.

It's because it's on another level where the invade is very frequent.

I'd like to take it one step at a time and ask that all adc's actually use their trinkets instead of saying "it's your job to ward bro"

I love my junglers =D As a jungler main years ago I switched to support and one of the first things I ever try to do is pink red or blue for my jgler and keep the enemy jungle warded and then harass the other team to pink our jungle. Whenever I see a ward going down mid or top I tell them "Care, jg in your area, back off and ward." It works 80% of the time even if I didn't see the jgler in their area per se.... it helps to teach people to be aware .
