I can't be the only one who wants Diana to be the fighter she was meant to be..

Instead of an assassin. Right?

Hopefully she'll get a rework one day, and if she does, I hope they remove her E. It just feels lackluster.

Actually, I find her R to be lackluster, not her E. If she gets reworked, I'd have Moonfall become her ultimate, giving it a damage component and maybe buffing its CC power, but giving it a very long cooldown.

I guess that could work; how would you feel about basically switching E and R?

Reduce Lunar Rush's damage a bit and add some damage (or maybe snare those affected with moonlight? that way it's not just another Orianna ult).

She is still a fighter... with some insane burst potential to open up with. She builds realy tanky and still does good damage, her low cooldown Q that resets her Ult gives her a good consistent burst potential.

I agree. Akali already does the assassin job better than Diana can, so Diana should put more of her power in auto-attacking.

One thought I have is that her passive should give her greater AS bonuses as she levels up. They might have to cut a little damage off her passive's proc, but in exchange you'd get more procs and thus better DPS.

In essence, it could turn Diana into something like a "magic-damage Master Yi".

I see Diana in a spot between Akali and Irelia atm. Akali is a sneakier burst assassin that outdamages Diana. Whereas, Irelia is the AA-ing, sticky as fuck fighter that does enough damage but can stay alive to deal the DPS, where Diana would get blown up.

Diana's still strong right now but I think she has an identity crisis. I want her to be a fighter too, but her burst potential is too much to pass up. I really want Nashor's to be core on her, but you get more damage out of building Lichbane and other high AP items to the point where there is no room for Nashor's unless you want to sacrifice a defensive item. The other option is to build Nashor's with more defensive AP items item 3116 item 3001 in hopes of dealing more damage over time and staying alive due to her added defenses. But higher AP gives more shields and more damage sooooo, yeah. I'm tired.

I like to think of diana as an ap riven, especially with max cdr and is potentially a better teamfighter than akali (and maybe irelia) her q+w+r aoe potential is miles ahead of akali and irelia in teamfights if you have the items.

I actually agree with you, yes.

I'm all for it, assassin diana is either irritating, insane burst, and hard to kill, or completely useless

If she stays as an assassin I think, among other rebalancing, her Q needs a speed nerf because that can be pretty crazy to dodge, and an assassin with wave clearing poke (also looking at you zed) is just not cool.

It's almost like Riot has a hard time balancing assassins...

I think she just needs something done with Moonfall, it's lackluster currently, but it could have potential to put a stamp on her kit. The rest of her kit is awesome in my opinion, moonfall has some synergy with her kit, (Q-R-W-E), but it could be much more amazing.

I do agree she has an identity crisis, she has several build paths, but its not necessarily a good build path like a Cho'Gath build path style where its either AP or tank: clear defined, its more of a "Shit, how do I build her" type of build path."
