Idea for balancing the new player issues
The idea of balanced champions and good strategic diversity is that games are decided by a combination of teamwork, skill and pick/ban phase tactics. Now if I'm wrong about this please correct me. So I had an idea for how to make EVERY SINGLE champion in the game more fair and balanced.
- Remove level restrictions for all the summoners----Especially since the most used summoner (Flash) is the highest one. Say a more experienced player is laning vs a player with less experience and skill and they are using the same champions, Ill use Leblanc for this example but you can replace it with anyone. The better player should win the trades bcuz he is better, not because he has a summoner the other guy is probably aware is best but he simply cant select yet.
2.Give each player 30 mastery points regardless of level---Again we have two players...this time one is only 2 levels higher, say a level 25 vs a level 27, and using the same champion. In theory the level 27 already has an advantage, he has played more games, should be more experienced and slightly "better" by this point, why does he then need to be given a small stat advantage as well?
3.Unlock the whole rune page and tier 3 runes for anyone---Again, you have two players with the same champion, the higher level should already have the experience advantage, why do we feel the need to also cripple the newer player with worse stats? This is also a money thing as now players are encouraged to save IP from the start for runes when they hit 20, but if you could get tier 3 from the start many players would just spend $$$ to get them now, where as atm they could use em anyway so there is no reason to.
Now I know that these things were added to give rewards as you level and make it feel meaningful...but here's the thing...it still isnt. THe game doesnt really start to you hit 30, and after that none of these levels matter. Every guide ever assumes your 30 and every moment before it is simply a grind to 30...My theory is that it is to encourage the sell of EXP boosts to get out of teh grind quicker, I understand your desire to leave it but simply put, still having the leveling to 30 before you can play ranked can be a thing...SHOULD be a thing. But having every game be at a stat disadvantage until them seems like overkill.
