Finally a worthy counter. But yep, shes yasuos major counter, as a support, She just needs to point click her adc and let him/her do the damage.

the yas has to be really bad or the morg has to be really good to snare the yasuo.

i mean yas she IS effective vs him more so than most champs but... she dones't really "counter" him

with the exception of bronzes, mechanically, silvers and up are not bad at all. A morg with rylais can snare a yasuo pretty easily,

Its also not just the yasuo trying to single out the ADC, it many times can be the morg hiding in a bush, the yasuo sees the adc runs for them, and morg shields the adc all of a sudden. I had to deal with a similar scenario when trying to carry a game with garen.

Stop Right There.

Morgana has ONE tool to effectively Counter ONE THING Yasuo does. Her E Black shield can block exactly One Crowd Control effect - in the short time it is active compared to the long cooldown it has - which is Yasuo's Knock up. The First one i might add.

Yasuo can W block and easily E dash out of morgana's Snare Q, Can Dash away from her R Chains if there is anything he can dash into. Not to mention yasuo's will ALWAYS find a way to E dash out of her W pool.

Having said that, One ability countering One aspect of power isn't what you call a Counter.

True Counter Pick examples are:

Zed into Lux

Zed's ability to Zap left and right like a super saiyan make Lux's entire kit baseless and useless since she cannot hit something that teleports anywhere it pleases.

Malphite into Jax

Malphite can effectively Kyte and trade jax early AND lategame, slow down Jax's Attack speed (His major core aspect) Aswell as apply hard crowd control to effectively shut down Jax. PLUS; Malphite can just max W first inlane and then rush 1 MR item then he will have both jax's Physical and magical damage from W and R 3 hit covered.

Lee sin into Kindred

Lee's Early burst and snowball destroy kindred's Face. He can quick clear the marks for Kindred and he can R her out of her ultimate to secure it for his own team. Not to mention Lee can proactively countergank a Kindred.

Draven into Vayne

OP lvl 1 and 2 trades. Draven can Outrun and chase down a vayne and with his Q axes outtrade and outdamage her at any stage of the game pre 30 minutes.

Soraka into Karthus.

Morgana into Yasuo is a terrible example compared to those 5 listed here because she, as i mentioned before and happily repeat now, only has one ability to temporarily disable one single Thing yasuo does.

Morgans shield can block as many disabling effects as long as the spell lasts.

Thats about all I read mate. There is no other true counter to yasuo because any disabling effect can either be windwalled or blocked . A good morgana can save her adc from a yasuo ult.

Then i gotta dissapoint her. Morgana can ONLY stop yasuo's knock up. NOT THE DAMAGE OR THE WINDWALL which is what truly tilts adc's versus yasuo. What use is CC immunity if your AA can't connect and if you can still die in 3-4 Autos.

Some ACTUAL yasuo Counters are Annie and Darius.

Annie has only 1 spell Yasuo can block and an instant AoE stun 2 shot burst Skill that not even Arkadata can properly predict

Darius because, well, he is darius. He Counters any melee that Needs fighting to be strong. Yasuo is weak when he runs, so he has to Keep fighting, which is where darius is strong, and a lot stronger in it than yasuo is.

No lol, morgana is great though. I think shes a very viable support. And if you have someone like an annie enemy its almost mandatory you take her.

A garen has to try hard against a yasuo who slightly ups his armor runes. Yasuos passive shield blocks garen Q's during that time yasuo can deal insane amounts of damage, if yasuo gets ahead its gg for garen.

In the long term, when you need to counter yasuo its better to take someone useful. Garen isnt that useful in skilled teamfights.

You're suppose to AA Yasuo's passive shield before engaging, what kind of Garen just blindly uses his Q directly on his shield?
Yasuo's silenced duration can give Garen ample time to stick to him while using his E.
Garen can simply W on either his Q cast or during the knock-up/ulted to reduce that certain amount of damage he's receiving. Also loved that you literally left this ability out.
Garen's simply good in diving down into the backline while being a meat-shield for his team, plus utilizing his E armor shred for some good use for his ADC to deal damage. Yasuo on the other hand, as others have said, can just be CC'ed to death, unless he gets a good knock-up for himself.

I actually agree with you on the entire opness of garen, Ive mained both over the years.

Ignoring the garen meat shield part, yasuo is still much better he can be built tanky and frankly his kit is strong enough to get a huge early advantage .

If yasuo gets frozen malet, ninja tabis, and merculais, hes unstoppable. My typical process is attakc the tanks while windwalling the adc, kill them, q, the adc, ult, and gg, Mages late game (except for annie) do little damage to yasuo.

I get doubles, triples, quadras almost every game , never happened as garen. I could also never solo carry as hard as garen. And when I mean solo carry, I mean solo carry a team of fuckheads who dont do anything but walk around in circles and play with their own poop while you take each tower, dragon, rift, and enemy champs down for them. With garen I just could never do that.
