I see this guy, and the teemo he is fighting may be higher elo but pokes and harasses just as much as any low elo teemo.I also find teemos shrooms to be hell during teamfights especially when you have idiots who step on them while you have your true vision up.

That same logic applies to literally any champion. The difference however is that other champions can actually contribute to the team with far less of the effort it takes to be good at Teemo.
He's an awful champion that stomps noobs who don't know how to lane properly, and if he doesn't get that lead in lane from stomping baddies he proceeds to be completely useless in every aspect.

Also, it bugs me that this video says "Ft. Essence Reaver" as if it's rare to see that on a Tryndamere. Essence Reaver is the standard for Trynd builds right now and should be built pretty much every game with very few exceptions.

Yes he did, although I didn't realize the video was from back in 7.11 when ER's power might not have been as well known yet.
But I am being serious about teemo, he is very strong .
I also seriously believe Teemo is a solid pick outside of high elo, at least as a counterpick in lanes he can bully very hard. I'm saying that "Teemo is shit" is a meme with no real relevance to his power.
Khristophoros1 votesTeemo is really good in solo queue but he's never been considered good in organized play probably because organized teams can counter his map control. He's mediocre in teamfights so that's not very attractive for organized play. So as a result you don't see him in LCS and people think he's bad in general. Honestly though if you want to win in solo queue he's not a bad choice.

What are sweepers and control wards?
DSØ1 votessweepers last only so long, you can probably get off 3 -4 shrooms at best. Its at the cost of your regular ward , teemo can attack you while youre doing it.
Its a valid strategy all players use in all elos, doesnt make it that much easier.
deoje2991 votesMastery 7 teemo player here. The view that most low elo players have of teemo being bad, comes from teemo players who are just trolls or bad at the game. If you are at least decent, You can crap on the majority of top laners as teemo, due to his poke and blind in lane. In addition you shred tanks and bruisers with an on-hit build, and assassinate squishies while having amazing vision jungle path control/vision later in the game with an ap build. So go ahead, play teemo, he's great.
Meep Man1 votesTeemo isn't bad, but the only reasons I can think of picking him are only really pseudo-unique to him, like his shrooms providing "Map/Vision Control" although there are Saplings and various other traps that also do such a thing. His blind is unique to him, but most of the time it's just better to get someone who can stun the ADC/Melee ADC rather than only shut down their basic attacks.
What I am saying is that Teemo isn't bad and can net you wins, but I can never find a situation where I'm in champion select and think to myself "Yes, now is 100% the time to pick Teemo", besides as a hard counter to Tryndamere.
This deals magic damage over time based off the target's max health. On top of that, the time resets whenever the mushroom deals damage.
Throw in some AP, some magic pen, use the slap chop. Tank killer.
