Trundle a good one trick top for rank?
Is trundle a good top laner to one trick in rank to carry as now I understand you won't win depending at all on your team.

One trick champs are based on your own strategies. You can't copy someone else and expect to do like them. So unless you already thought of your one trick trundle strategy and are willing to practice it until mastery, then he is as good as any.
People on the forums are saying splitpushing doesn't work anymore, but in my ELO is certainly does. Just about any top splitpusher can be a OTP.
Trundle is strong in 1v1 and can splitpush. No matter which champion you choose as main champ you can be succefull, but for soloqueue i would personally not recommend trundle. Splitpush requires good communication and doesn't work well if you're lower than plat. And trundle doesn't offer good hard cc ( he has cc but other tanks offer better cc ) or any form of engage.
Honestly, don't try to pick a strong champion to one trick. You'll get tired of it and quit. Pick a champion that you love playing and one trick them. There are all kinds of one trick ponies that have gotten high up with bad champions.
Trundle has always been a team dependent champion. Think of him like a support juggernaut. His latest nerfs really hurt his ability to spilt-push as well. You would have a much easier time winning with him by jungling or supporting imo. He offers a lot of utility, but he doesn't really carry games on his own, especially after the nerfs.
god no, trundle's power mostly comes from being a tank killer, meaning he is strong when laning against tanks and juggernauts top like maokai, and naut but if fiora, jax, riven, camille, or any other carry tops are picked his ult ceases to be useful, allong with this his split push is relatively team reliant, since your immobile meaning that your support needs to ward for you if you want to have any chance of escaping a 5 man, since you won't be able to put out enough vision on your own.
