Flex?

So I only play flex and not solo. I'm g2 promos n flex but on s4 promos promos on solo. I mostly do it because I want to play supp and I want to have people that can carry and not people that are on the same skill leve as me. Does that make me a bad player? I rarely play with premades btw.
