Patch 7.20 ruined my game?

So after installing patch 7.20 I tried to play a game and the loading screen was incredibly slow 5-10 minutes then I joined 2 minutes in the game and my timer was showing it was 7 minutes in the game (loading time + actual game time) Did this happened to anyone else or is it just my potato laptop?
