Gaining Champion Mastery Question || Does Riot just hate 3v3?

TL;DR: What I am really asking for is a definitive answer to the question "What modes does one have to play and earn an S Rank to gain a Mastery 7 Token?"

So I am "fairly new" to League of Legends (started playing less than a year ago) and one thing I noticed when I switched from playing against bots to PVP was gaining Champion Mastery. Getting Mastery 6 on TristanaTristana was one of the best feelings for me because she was the first champion that I learned to play and got decently good at (not great by any means but as someone who has never played a game like league having just started this season and getting Mastery 6 was pretty alright).

Recently I have been playing a lot of Twisted Treeline thinking there will be less players on each team so less toxic players in general to deal with per team. I recently decided to pull out the pocket pick TristanaTristana when a bunch of my other champs got banned. I ended that game 19/7/5 - 204CS and an S score; yet did not earn my Mastery 7 token at the end of the game.

I've looked through a lot of forums and posts by Riot and have tried to figure out if it's on my end but I played a PVP and did not earn a Mastery Token. Are they only available to people playing in Summoner's Rift? Are they only available to people playing Ranked? As someone who is new I recognize that I am not The Best at this game and when I go to Ranked or even MANY games in Normals on Summoner's Rift I get flamed when I mess up the slightest bit. I had a Support once AFK because I missed two CS in a row. I don't want to deal with that to try to gain Mastery.

Photos for proof

Since the original posting of this (about two weeks ago, never did the forums thing and found it was deleted for being in the wrong place) I have been grinding out Ranked 3v3 games and have earned multiple S rankings in games and have not been rewarded any of the tokens for gaining Mastery Level 6/7 with champions that I have played. Ranked 3v3 is still a highly competitive environment, but actively feels forgotten by Riot. Why if someone earns an S in Ranked 5v5 does that make them "more masterful" on a champion than one who earned an S+ on that same champion in 3v3? Is there a time where Riot will actually give some love to 3v3?

They are only available on competitive game modes like summoners rift in draft pick, blind, and ranked.

Game modes not meant to be serious like twisted treeline blind and ranked, aram, and rotating game modes do not give you the honor of mastering the champ.
