Riot Considering Yasuo Rework

So, a Rioter or two have stated that they are considering doing a mini-rework to Yasuo, which I think is a mistake. I honestly believe this is just out of exhaustion from constant low elo bitching about Yasuo and how he's "op." And that's not trash talking low elo, that's just a simple observation. High elo players have significantly less qualms about Yasuo's current state because simply put, they know how to shut him down and play around him. But if Riot deems it absolutely essential that Yasuo receive a mini rework, please consider the following options so as to not completely break my main/favorite champion, because I really don't want the Rengar treatment.

  1. Buff Yasuo's base stats and maybe give him damage scaling that will hate his early game but make him stronger late game. The double crit thing in his kit is more of an adc tool, and Yasuo just simply isn't played bottom enough to justify him being treated as one.

  2. Replace windwall with an active W that instantly replenishes 100% flow and gives him his shield back. Keep it on a long CD, but this way it is only a brief couple seconds of damage mitigation and adc's/mages aren't totally shut out because projectiles. Also I feel like timing on the activation of such an ability would make his W much more skill-oriented.

  3. The other option with windwall could be keep it, and just get rid of Yasuo's passive shield. But because of no longer having a passive shield you would need to significantly decrease the cs on windwall (still not sure if that would be a healthy mechanic.)

  4. Remove damage entirely from Yasuo's E and make it a movement only spell. This would keep Yasuo's identity as a mobile fighter/assassin while also making his hard engage in 1v1 situations slightly less oppressive.

These are just a few ideas you could use to tweak Yasuo and appease the constant whiners, without completely breaking the champ. Because while there may be people who say that they'd be happy to see Yasuo be broken and nerfed into the ground, they aren't representative of either the entire community or of the MANY Yasuo mains/people who enjoy playing him. Thanks for reading.

Thank god they are at least considering it, although ever since the E "nerf" I'm highly skeptical they will do anything of substance.

I actually think it would be relatively easy to balance him. The main issue is the fact his E has between one-fifth and one-tenth of a second cooldown and is a damaging spell that stacks twice, and his Q drops to 1.3 seconds. His ult can hit around 27 seconds and give 15 seconds of bonus armor pen on every critical strike (which is misleading since with 1 item and cloak of agility he has 100% crit chance) - it makes it difficult to play against somebody who has a passive with double crit and a shield regenerating in combat, a 4 second long wall blocking any projectile coming in from that direction, and the fact with 1 and 1/3rd items he has as much crit as an adc needing 4 items.

So since you -are- a Yasuo main or a fan of the champ, let me ask you what you think of this idea:

E - set to 3 seconds fixed UNLESS Yasuo kills the unit he's passing through, in which case he can recast immediately. In other words, now he has to carefully choose which minions he E's through because if he doesn't kill them he has to wait to dash.

W - Drop to 2/2.5/3/3.5/4 seconds at ranks 1-5

Passive - Flow - Unable to regenerate shield until out of combat for five seconds, but at three times the speed it regenerates now. It will still be instantly refreshed on ult.

This keeps him strong but makes him have to play smarter rather than cast E every tenth of a second and his shield won't be up two seconds after you take it down.

Also, if this many people are complaining about him don't you think he needs some changes? He can be shut down and kept there by a lot of us but the problem is, all he needs is one and one-third items to get 100% crit and then faceroll everybody worse than season 3 Kassadin.
