Looking for a champion that won't give you guys cancer

Hey, I'm looking for a top lane champion to otp. I was considering Jayce, but people apparently despise him. I don't want to ruin someones game just by picking a champion. I also don't want to play a no depth tank that's only purpose is to tank shots. What toplaners do you recommend that aren't just lane bullies or salt inducers.This are some of the champions I'm considering Edit: Are these just normal top laners and people really just being salty about losing to otp's?

note: I don't really care whats meta, because I play casually.

People are salty about losing to anything. Generally any champion they find hard to win against is "broken", "overpowered", "overloaded" and "needs nerfs". The general way of thinking is: A fair champion is one that I win against.

But if you want to go another way and really bring down the salt, I suggest you play this guy: Warwick . There's nothing that spells SALT like his ultimate.

Why should you care what people think? Pick what you enjoy, you'll be better off. Yasuo is my favorite champ and i couldnt give a damn how much people hate him.

People will complain no matter what, preven fact. Though out of those, I have seen Gnar the least and really can't say anything salt inducing about him. I can say he is the most adorable top lane though.

Illaoi Pantheon LeeSin Gnar Olaf Ekko are all look at as hated. You need to think to counter most of them and that is asking for to much

People will find whatever you play to be cancer if you're good at it. Either it's actually OP or unfair and they call it cancer, or it's uncommon and they don't know how to deal with it so it's cancer. Just play what you think you enjoy the most :P
