Is Riot ever gonna do something about Annie?

How to put this... i understand that Annie is supposed to be a newbie champ, someone with basically braindead mechanics but extremely high kill potential. This is all well and good, but Annie essentially power wise is old veigar with an on click aoe stun. She hasn't really had any nerfs to her kit whatsoever so far as i've seen and the fact that she is easily one of the most abusable and straight up frustrating lane matchup makes games with her for me atleast dodge worthy on its own. She gets fed? She can easily carry her team. She doesn't get fed but her team is competent? She farms till she has core items and lands ONE good ult then its gg. Catch her out? Oh wait she just bursted your tank, midlaner and support. There honestly should not be a champion with this much of a broken kit that it becomes a literal kill switch in the late game for not only one but multiple people. I'd appreciate some though on this because i swear to god, every game there's an Annie its the worst thing to just watch her wait till 6 then press the die button for free kills. What'd you guys think about all this?
