Why is comcast internet so screwed up?

For everyone else who suffers from this abomination we call an isp i'm sincerely sorry. Basically motems randomly turning off, sudden ping spikes of 2000, streaming lag off the charts are just a few things that make it so terrible. RIP Comast users.

Funny, that sounds an awful lot like my AT&T internet. Most of that is because the hardware the AT&T gives us is garbage.
