the matchmaking rigged conspiracy

I don't buy into it, but sometimes I think they have a point when I've had a good few days of winning and now I find myself 1 out of my last 10 or so with a high amount of people just afking or being tilted after one death and throwing. these are not even close losses, the conspiracy lives on and with this anecdotal data someone could believe that's its all riots fault for the horrendous luck of games that coincidently came right after a slew of good games. I certainly don't believe that, but I understand where people come when they say "forced 50% wr" however in the end it just happened to be a streak of ugly games in quick succession and you have to move on.

Well, it could be put to rest if we were told how the system actually works. But without the evidence for the "truth", any conspiracy is fair game. That doesn't mean they're true, but the claim that it's fair is just as evidence-deficient as any conspiracy.

If it did not happen over and over (win streaks then lose streaks) I would say its not a thing. The issue is that it happens over and over and to many people.

Riot may not be Consciously doing it but the algorithm they use creates this result for at least some of the players. It could be a bug with the system for some accounts.

I personally think that Riot needs to overhaul the MMR system because its trash for most players.
