autofilled jg loss caused demote on my main role
just hit 0lp on mid lane got autofilled jg the next game lost and mid got demoted i dont feel like thats fair i didnt get a chance to play my main role to try and not get demoted

It’s like this for a reason. If you didn’t demote on your main role for off role losses you could just play said off role until you win and secure the splash LP on your main role in order not to get demoted in case your next main role game is another loss. A solution to this could be that you can’t get splash LP for your main role in case you are at 0 LP in order not to be able to exploit the system until you’ve played that role. That way you would neither demote nor save your ass because of splash LP.
I dont like positional ranking probably more than anyone...but....wehn it comes to demotion.....just dont go on long losing streaks on your main role and that wont happen. I mean, it is your main role....shouldnt be having that long of losing streaks to even make a splash demotion possible. If thats happening, its probably time to find another main role.
I file that under the same thing as people blaming their demotions on their people .....like i mean u already have to be losing lots of games coming into that game to get demoted.
