So, I'm silver 1, and they gave me a silver 1 support, to balance putting 2 bronze 1 players on my team, while the enemy team is complete silver 4 and higher...That's very balanced. What do you want me to do with a silver 1 support, exactly?
Mysticman892 votesKeep in mind you're match based on mmr and ranks don't necessarily match MMR, so the bronze 1's could be good and the silver 1 could be meh.
I don't really understand why you seem to take issue with the support being silver 1 if you are yourself silver 1. That should be a good thing, since it's very frustrating to have your bot lane prowess held back by your bot lane partner being somewhat less skilled.

Mysticman891 votesOutlook is even better there, since it increases the odds the b1 happens to be duo'd with the adc for that juicy bot lane communication synergy.
Also, support-jungler synergy is a thing. Less clear if you two are actually working together very effectively in silver, but the better the support is the more likely they're setting up suitable vision control to get eyes on the enemy jg/clear out wards for your ganks and so forth.
