League 101: "It's an advantage if you fight your opponent when you have a bigger wave than them"

It still is, he gets murdered by minion damage.

Shield + wind wall. And it's not like he'll clear the wave along with him as it grants him mobility.

His shield doesn't block minion aggro. And if he uses wind wall just walk away he won't have enough minions to follow you as they are all piled around him.
If he's clearing the way he is not focused on hitting you.
Honestly most cases about Yasuo is simply lack of skill.
It depends on how big the minion wave is. If you have two minions and he has one minion, it doesn't matter much that the wave is "bigger". If you have ten minions and he has five minions, then you have a serious advantage. So it isn't just about having a "bigger" wave, but about having a "big" wave. How big is a matter for debate. It also depends on what champion you are fighting him with. If you fight with a lot of skill shots, then you have to be good enough to land your skills despite him dancing in the minion wave.

Yeah, i'm was under the impression he meant around 8-9 minions to 4 or 3...
