Kindred was a mistake, she's way too oppressive when ahead and very hard to play when behind.
She's in a fine spot right now, played at all elos with a decent playrate and a decent win rate.
Amumu is good in lower elos, he's just a low-elo stomper champion and that's it. In higher elos people know how to exploit his weaknesses.
Just because everything scales with AP doesn't mean you should build him AP, what rank are you again?
Means he will benefit from a little bit of AP , maybe from ROA, Lyandri, Rylai or the new Morellonomicon they are introducing
And just because his passive feels like a weaker version of something else doesn't mean it's not useful for the champion.
Not everything has to be overly complicated, Amumu is a fun champion for new players and those in lower ranks who are learning jungle.
