He is the Yasuo of the support world. He does everything better then even does. Its pure pay to win (YES, it DOES apply, most recent support is also the most powerful... please look up the definition before you say "whaaa.. its a free to play game. He is the most expensive support and also the most powerful), which is why he's more powerful they every other support in the game that is not a burst mage. The support role has been destroyed because of this overpowered, badly designed wannabe support whose actually an assassin.

Riot, admit the experiment failed and take away his gold share and make him a midlaner because this champ is the whole reason I can't play the supports I like anymore. He's simply unfair and overloaded and I REFUSE to pay money just to win this game.

Since and joined the game... the support role has been an unfun mess. I am sick of overpowered champions constantly being made just so you can make a quick buck. Where is your integrity. No serious support main would ever pick up this guy because he's completely dependent on your own ego.

is the reason I hardly play League anymore and enjoy it. He's an assassin pretending to be a support. Put him in midlane where he actually should be.

Thresh recently dropped down to 4,800 BE and is still one of the strongest supports in the game as he's been relevant across all ELOs since his release.

You can have problems with Pyke, but don't try to claim the game is pay to win. That's the furthest thing from the truth.

I think it's hypocritical to say that Pyke is heinous in this sense because Thresh and Alistar have been way more prominent and that's been for much longer periods of time but because they don't do damage that makes it cool? Pyke suffers defensively and excels offensively, other supports excel Defensively and suffer offensively. He has clear windows to capitalize on and champions that can easily beat him in lane.

Interesting how above Platinum, Thresh has both a higher winrate and higher pickrate.

Above Gold, still higher.

Even at Silver, Thresh is still more commonly picked and wins more often than Pyke.

His banrate is higher, but if you ask me, it's because people don't want to put in the effort to capitalize on his counters and just decide to ban him. Which is fine, but saying that Pyke has no counters is just ridiculous.

You don't have to pay money to win because you can't actually do that.

I'm not a real support main even though:

I'm Mastery 7 with: Zilean, Kayle, Shen (twice, once on each account), and Thresh. I'm Mastery 6 with: Thresh again, Nami, Karma, and Poppy. I'm Mastery 4/5 with: Poppy (again), Nidalee, Bard, Nautilus, etc.

You're right though. I must just be an egotistical jerk and don't enjoy contributing to my team ever. It couldn't be that I like being very aggressive and Pyke offers me that opportunity to do it while playing my favorite role. It couldn't be that I enjoy roaming and trying to snowball teammates to increase our chances of winning the game.

Lucian 's destroying the game for me tbh.

53% win rate, 30% play rate, 30%+ ban rate and riot still seems to be blind.

I remember when enchanters got gutted and I do mean gutted when they decided to build AP to go along with the utility that they bring

Sorry, but any well played support completely counters Pyke.

Alistar Tanky, taunts, allows adc to kill. Blitzcrank has a much better kill hook combo. One of Pyke's top counters. Prevents linear play and punishes any Pyke that even tries to Q. Braum When played in a duo that worktogether, his stun is undeniable. Opens Pyke up for a horrible KDA. Karma Heavy counters Pyke. W prevents him from staying in a fight on risk of a 3 second root, Q tears up his HP, and her cooldowns are MUCH smaller than his. Leona Locks down Pyke and his adc long enough to kill. Hard to kill, even with Lethality. Nami Hard counters Pyke with Ult, CC, Heals. Lulu Instantly both knocks Pyke up when he ults, and gives HP back to the champ he's ulting. Poly's him to death. Sona Both heals and shields through some of the phys damage after Pyke ults. Has a massive Poke which keeps him on the defense. He has trouble farming in this lane, Soraka Globally hard counters Pyke, can cancel his Q with her E, can outright duel Pyke when played right..... Zyra Just nukes him to hell. Zilean Prevents ult, and can lock down and outrun Pyke.

Pyke counters BAD supports and Adcs. That's it. And then you have Kaisa , who can 1 shot Pyke......

Just rebalance the power in Pyke's kit. Remove some of the strength off of his ult, making it more fun or interesting to play around than just "don't get low lul" and make mana costs not total shit.

TBH Tank Pyke was healthier. He was a catcher with some teamfight/skirmish power but not much of a damage threat. Lethality Pyke with triple lethality scaling is still a catcher with teamfight/skirmish power... except he deletes everyone he touches XDDDDD
