7.19 mid lane tier list
Do bear in mind this is assuming that you're playing at the highest level of gameplay and you're a god at that champion, so it might seem a bit theoretical.
S tier – Azir, Corki, Lucian, Kassadin, Syndra, Taliyah, AP Ezreal A tier – ASol, Cassiopeia, Ekko, Galio, LeBlanc, Malzahar, Orianna, Ryze, Talon, Twisted Fate B tier – Ahri, Anivia, Fizz, Karma, Katarina, Veigar, Vel’Koz, ,Viktor, Vladimir, Ziggs C tier – Annie, Gangplank, Jayce, Karthus, Lux, Xerath, Yasuo, Zed D tier - Akali, Brand, Heimerdinger, Lissandra, Morgana, Swain, Zilean
S champions are either super generalist or the top tier counterpicks to the generalists, A's are champions that do well in the meta, but you don't really always want to pick them first. They're either mediocre on an absolute scale and do extremely well in the meta (e.g. TF is worse than Taliyah, but his ease of use keeps him higher up), or they're not good in the meta but they're generally really fucking good picks. The one tricks on these champions are usually gods (ASol) B tier are champions where you have to practice them to get good results but they do at least have one trick up their sleeve that makes them playable in the meta. C tiers are champions that usually only have 1 good, redeeming quality or are better suited for another lane. The difference between them and B champions is B's have 1 trick that makes them good as a counterpick while C's have 1 trick that makes them usable. D is short for dog champ
If you're curious, here are some explanations.
Azir - god-tier again this patch. Corki - not the greatest but he abuses Ardent like no other. Good midlaner for that reason alone. Malzahar - ezpz champ autoshoves and you don't have to be good at mid to win games Ryze - elo Jesus. He has varying degrees of success simply because his combos offer a lot of depth that you will never abuse fully, no matter if you're B5 or Faker. Vlad - strongest B tier champion but held back because everyone has GW. Also your play pattern is shat on by how much healing and shields everyone has. Anivia - never bad if you're an Anivia otp. Annie - by far the easiest champion to gain LP with but on an absolute scale she only provides one thing and it's absurdly predictable and easy to deal with. Also Syndra can throw Tibbers off her team. Jayce - if your name isn't Khan, don't play this champ. Also keep him top please. Xerath - Ziggs is kept up by his waveclear, siege, and zone control. Xerath has easier skillshots but nothing else besides damage and damage isn't necessary for good mids right now. AP Ezreal - best champ/waifu in game
As for low elo, a big point I want to bring up is for you guys, meta has far less of an impact on a champion's strength and most of it boils down to lane strength, teamfighting power, ease of use, essentially the champion's strength on the absolute level only. For low elo (Gold and below) here are the adjustments I'd make. Keep in mind this is for you if you're comfortable on your champion.
Lucian - C tier Syndra - B tier Taliyah - B tier AP Ezreal - SSS tier Cassiopeia - B tier Ekko - S tier Galio - B tier LeBlanc - C tier Malzahar - S tier Ryze - B tier Talon - S tier Ahri - A tier Fizz - A tier Viktor - C tier Vladimir - A tier Ziggs - A tier Annie - A tier Lux - B tier Zed - B tier Morg - C tier Lissandra - E tier

S tier in high elo in mid lane
are also ~1 tier better imo
... many adcs now that she got buffed honestly. Her pick rate is almost as high a Sivir, Draven and MF combined and her win rate is still almost 49%.
